My family enjoyed the food here. My 8 year old son loved the steak and he is super picky. I like that they give you bean dip in addition to salsa when you come in. They did give me the wrong drink and the drink was like 7.50, But not that big of a deal, I would definitely still come back. The staff was nice.

Stopped here for lunch on a quiet weekday afternoon and had a pleasant experience. I ordered the taco salad, which was served in a large, crispy taco shell. The portion was humongous. Our waitress was very attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed, and everyone I encountered was friendly. I’ve been here on the weekend at night and my experience was similar - great staff, strong drinks, and good food. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience with good food and efficient service.

Updated May 2025:
While their decor still needs to be updated/redesigned, their food and service has gone down.
Their food is very mediocre, and while their Taco Tuesday all-you-can eat seems like a good value, their Tacos are not good. They are served very wet (seems they don’t even attempt to drain the meat before adding it to the tacos). And the taste is honestly something that even I could do a better job with.
Service is the bare minimum. Nothing special.
I truly hope they can correct these issues. I used to love the original Azteca in Plantation, which I assume was the same owners.
Original review below:
The only reason I’ve not given them 5 stars is the decor and I’m nit picking.
I actually feel their food is superiority to their decor. I found the restaurant to be clean and in good condition overall but It could be a bit more “higher end” if I could put it simply.
Again, their food is great and so I feel elevating the decor a bit would align with their food. These guys are so much better than similarly decorated restaurants so they should set them selves apart by going for a stylish look.

We ended up walking in here on a whim and we were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance, the staff, and the food! The only complaint is the drinks.
It feels like a fun Mexican restaurant with a bar, the food was FANTASTIC, and the staff was really friendly.
The drinks were huge which is normally a plus, BUT two of us both ordered the house margarita and within an hour were both incredibly nauseous and ended up throwing up because of the bad well liquor. Everybody else was fine so we know it was the alcohol that was the problem.
