Pho Gia Vi — very authentic spot and definitely worth a visit if you’re craving good pho. We tried the steak pho and the vegetarian pho, and both were excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the meat in the steak pho was delicious with options for rare or well done, which was nice. They give you plenty of additions on the side too — bean sprouts, basil, jalapeños, and lime — so you can customize it how you like. Portions are very generous. Even the small was pretty big and more than enough for one person. They also have an extensive menu beyond pho, plus a good selection of bubble teas and drinks, so there are a lot of options depending on what you’re in the mood for. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, and this feels like one of those places that focuses on doing pho right rather than trying to be trendy. Would definitely come back.
I’ve been here at least a dozen times, and I’m just now leaving a review. Honestly thought I already did. I come all the way from Deerfield to eat here, even knowing there are pho spots closer to me. That alone should tell you something. Hands down, this is the best pho broth. If you know, you know. And the fact that the local Vietnamese community come to this place too? That says everything.
Stopped here for dinner after reading reviews on Facebook. They weren’t kidding, best pho I’ve had in Broward!! Restaurant has a nice vintage feel to it, service was quick and staff was super nice. Chicken pho and spring rolls were 10/10. Definitely worth a try
My husband and I just moved to the area and we were looking for a Vietnamese restaurant nearby. Found this place through google and their reviews were really good, so we decided to try it out. I had their grilled chicken pho and my husband had the chicken fried rice. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Very authentic, small family business. The space is small and outdated, BUT it was definitely worth having dinner here. The staff is very nice and we had no issues. We totally recommend trying them out.
I wish I could give this restaurant more because I LOVE pho but unfortunately everything was a huge let down. The papaya salad held NO flavor at all. Boils shrimp on top of papaya with fish sauce on the side. ABSOLUTELY so spice was added. Also I ordered pho that included tripe and they never told me they were out. When my pho came out I was confused because there was no tripe, it also was 90% noodle and the cinnamon flavor was wierd. I asked where is my tripe and she said we were out of it. So I returned the dish because it was terrible and didn’t include all of the items. They returned with my bill instead of asking if I wanted to change my meal for something else. I told them to take the check back because the other people on the table weren’t done eating. EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Also NOT ONE TIME DID THEY FILL THE WATER UP AT ALL, not after appetizers, dinner, check, NOTHING. 0/10 recommend.
