This was our first time at TooJay’s and we’ll definitely be back! The menu was extensive, the food was delicious, and I really had a hard time picking a meal because everything looked amazing.
I ended up ordering the Reuben and it was huge, which meant I got to eat the other half the next day. We also got the pastrami obeyed and it was fantastic, too. Sides were French fries and coleslaw, both hot and cold respectively. Loved the pickle with the sandwich. Just Go! You won’t be disappointed.

A great dependable go-to when you’re craving classic New York-style deli fare, especially a good Reuben sandwich. We got a summer special coupon so we went for first time and it was a nice experience. They have a long menu for breakfast, brunch, burgers, grilled cheese, deli, etc. You have to go to see what I’m talking about! As they say: Big portions, bold flavors!

Coral Springs, FL. This TooJay’s is smaller than our favorite TooJay’s in Plantation, but the Coral Springs location has a new attraction: Richie.
Richie was our server. At first, he looked like any other nice server, until we’d been there five minutes. It became clear Richie knew everyone else who came in by name. His New York accent came out. He took care of everybody.
Especially when the gentleman in the booth behind ours knocked over his water. Richie was full of jokes, reassurances and helpfulness.
I only remember his name because when it was time to pay, our server said, “No problem. You just pay Richie.” Then we saw later his name on the receipt was Richard.
His New York accent made my pastrami on rye taste better. Excellent matzo ball soup, as always. Steve got the country fried steak and it hit the spot.
TooJay’s has a bakery case that makes people salivate, with delectable black and white cookies, rugelach, and huge moist frosted cakes. We e gotten their Thanksgiving Turkey dinners with pie in the past. Never had anything bad there. It’s all good at TooJay’s.

This is my son and my favorite place to go for big bowls of Matzo ball soup with noodles and sharing a perfectly constructed grilled cheese sandwich. We go once a week. The servers and staff are great and we love Krissy, she takes great care of us..

Toojays on university is always clean bright and staff friendly. Im not a fan of the rolled meat sandwiches but they are tasty. Some foods can be hit/miss like chicken salad mehh. But the matzaball soup was outstanding! Very rich flavor with moist matzaballs. Chopped liver sandwich was ok.
