We looked for options to try Thai Food and this place showed up with decent reviews. For anyone who has tried authentic Thai food, this place will disappoint you. The food was a complete letdown. The chicken fried rice was just white rice and chicken nothing else, no veggies and no taste. Pad Thai was no way close and the street vendors in Bangkok would spin up a 100 times better tasting Pad Thai in less than two minutes. Chicken Teriyaki entree was worse than what you would find in a basic stall in a mall. We tried Tom Gai, Hot & Sour soup and these were below standard as well. I regret dining here and would never visit again.
12/8/25- update dinner was great again. Tried the cashew chicken, sushi, teriyaki chicken. Service so friendly! Interesting! Super clean and bright. Small but very welcoming. Service was very good. Food- im conflicted. We both had lunch specials that for the price was outstanding. Its a fusion place serving thia(sortof) Sushi(sortof) and chinese. The thai soup was good but missing thai ingredients.....the salads were large and tasty just add a couple cherry tomatoes please. I had the chicken and cashews and it was VERY DIFFERENT then regular experience. This was Super Good! Extra crispy chicken with fresh vegetables and a sauce that tasted like it was made 5 minutes ago not a year old. The roast pork with vegetables had large pork slices and really was fresh too. I think chinese food is the specialty of this restaurant and i cant wait to try more dishes. Thank you for being original.
I used to be a loyal customer at Moon Thai, but after discovering Spikey Ty in the Coral Springs/Parkland area, there’s no going back. The food here is next-level—fresh, flavorful, and absolutely worth every penny. Everything on the menu is so well prepared. My family has tried everything. I ordered the spicy tuna salad and the kamikaze roll, and both were nothing short of incredible. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. The staff? Phenomenal. Super friendly, attentive, and they make you feel like a regular even on your first visit. Spikey Ty is where it’s at for delicious food, amazing service, and a dining experience that keeps you coming back. My family has been eating here for a couple months now. Thank you!
It is a simple sit-down atmosphere but it's always great. Everyone who walks in while you are eating there is a regular customer. The owners are great, the food is great, the quality is top notch in Coral Springs. When you go once, you will be back...! Portions are perfect and if you do finish it, you will be stuffed. Incredible value I've been going there for probably 15 years. I try them all, but I always come back to Spikey Ty as a preference.
Talk about service. Walked in to order food for Holiday lunch party. Alan the owner was so nice, went in and ordered and paid on Wednesday. Friday the food was ready at agreed time and the food was hot and fresh. He even got it ready 30min prior to opening to accommodate me. They even bagged orders by name to make it easy! Thank you Alan for the great service !
