Food was okay, but the service was TERRIBLE. I rarely leave reviews but this was just unbelievable. I wasn’t greeted when I arrived, so I seated myself and waited a while before anyone acknowledged me. When the server finally came over, she just took my order and walked away — no greeting or interaction. Water took 15 minutes to arrive, and when the food came, it was served without utensils. I also ordered a sour soup juice, and it was spoiled. To top it off, when I paid, the server took the payment and walked away without even saying thank you or goodbye. Very disappointing overall. Management seriously needs to step up — poor service like this takes away from what could have been a decent dining experience. 🤦🏾♀️
I’ve always enjoyed the food at Caribbean Delish, but I’m disappointed with my recent experience. They promote a 5-star review for a free drink, which is clearly stated on the receipt, yet when I inquired about it, the staff at the front seemed unaware of the promotion and claimed the manager wasn’t available. This lack of communication and training is concerning and reflects poorly on the business. I really wanted to support my local Haitian restaurant, but it’s frustrating when promotions aren’t honored. I hope they can address these issues for a better experience in the future.
Please just work on the service for dine-ins, I know we have take out culture where most of the restaurants are take and go but if you offer dine in services then it must be good also.
I’m a foodie and will give credit if the food is good. Fish well fried and cooked but a bit overpriced. The wait time for the service here was terrible, mediocre and unfriendly to say the least. Ambiance not suitable for dine in with your spouse or family! Food made up for the poor experience. If I ever eat here again it will be delivery!
It's a hole in the wall, but the food is decent. Service is about what I expected. It's not the best, but not bad either. Atmosphere is a club like setting inside if you decide to dine in. I am a repeat customer, so that speaks volume. It's my go-to Haitian restaurant whenever I am in the Margate area.
