I used to love this restaurant but tonight completely changed my opinion. I was charged $70 for a fish listed as $60 when I question the extra $10 they waited until the fish was ready and then argued instead of simply correcting the price. All they had to do was honor the listed price but they refused. Very disappointing experience.
Delish in Margate absolutely lives up to the name! Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The service was warm and attentive without being rushed. Portions are generous and the atmosphere is cozy but upscale. Already planning our next visit. If you’re in Margate, don’t skip this gem!
On 5/17/2026 was my first time trying this restaurant. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was great, but the customer service was horrible. I honestly felt like they noticed I was American and just skipped over me like I didn’t matter until I finally spoke up for myself. Once I did, the service changed, but nobody should have to beg for basic respect or attention. It’s disappointing because the food really was good, but good food alone doesn’t make up for feeling ignored and unwelcome as a customer. I hope they work on treating every customer equally because the restaurant definitely has potential.
The food was absolutely tasty and the soursop juice 😋 👌 was delectable! The DJ had a great selection and blend of retro and current tunes to keep customers entertained.
When you walk into the restaurant they do not greet you or even acknowledge that you are there. I order the food online, just to show up at the time that they said that it would be ready and had to wait another 35 minutes before I got the food. The rice and marinade was very delicious, however the goat sauce had so much oil that I had to drain it in order to eat some of it.
