I’ve lived in Coral Springs for 30 years. This use to be our family’s go to spot for a great sub! To say the portions and quality have declined is an understatement. This was my 3rd time getting a “bread” sub! Definitely NOT “overstuffed” at all, stringy roast beef meat and 3 paper thin slices of turkey on my roast beef and turkey sandwich, could not taste a turkey or the cheese because they slice it paper thin and give you barely anything anymore … quality is NOT Boars Head. Sad to see prices increase and quality declines… Annie’s pizza has better subs at a cheaper price (overstuffed and it’s boars head!) Looks like Publix & Annie’s are our only “go to’s” from now on.
I moved the Florida right around 2000. This was my go to spot for many years. I recently moved to the West Coast of Florida so anytime I’m back on this side. I’m like I need to get myself a little sub fix. I hate to see it. The new normal is smaller portions more expensive ordered a small roast beef and cheese. The roast beef is always on point ordered extra mayo didn’t even see any on there. Extra sweet peppers. Probably got less than I ever got without even paying an extra for it little bit disappointed well question my next visit.
Best sandwiches in South Florida. Come hungry they are huge! Fresh baked bread topped with your choice of meat, cheese, add lettuce, tomato, sweet peppers, hot peppers, and pickles, then they top it with another layer of meat. Yum!!! Watch the show as they make the hoagie and toss the meat right into the bead. Lunch entertainment at its best!
Love Laspada’s subs but they for sure aren’t as big as they used to be. I haven’t been in a year or so but you could barely fit the sub in your mouth before now it’s about the same size as a Publix sub and $18 for a monster sub… I would except it be as big as they used to be. Shame.
Our first time and it won't be our last! Employees were welcoming, patient and very helpful. Ayesha, Jim and Justice were wonderful! We had the Italian Special on the round bun with provolone cheese, lettuce, onion and mayonnaise. The bread was light and the freshly sliced deli meat was delicious! A great value for our date night out.
