I can't believe this place was 15 min away and I never been. The food amazing! I got the London broil breakfast with 2 eggs and potatoes and it was delicious. Perfectly seasoned. I am definitely going back. 10 out of 10 definitely recommed
Been going here since I was a kid but took a hiatus and finally returned. The food is just okay. The salmon Benedict was way too salty. Pancakes were good.
If you're looking for a place that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at anytime and with REAL food not that frozen stuff, THIS IS IT! I've dined in and did takeout here. My daddy put me on to this spot and his daddy put him on to it (I didn't even know they've been around that long lol). I also didn't know they had this location until recently. This one isn't 24 hrs but besides that it's a good spot to come eat with an extensive menu. The girls at the front are really nice and the servers too. Good vibes here! 😊
My son and I decided to stop in for lunch. The menu has been improved tremendously since last we visited, which was pre- corona time. They offer greek, some italian and some jewish specialties which I loved. I ordered a open faced pastrami sandwich, my son had the Fort Lauderdale chili cheese dog. We were very pleased with the portions and the quality of the entrees. The pastrami was reminiscent of a nyc deli style. I would suggest that they serve it on rye instead of plain white bread as this would enhance the flavor at least imo. My sandwich came with gravy, but I did not like the consistency or taste. If I had the choice, an au jus would have been better. My son's hot dog was like coney island style...massive and loaded with chili and cheese, generous fries. Our waitress, Precious was indeed a delight. The staff is beautiful and friendly, energetic as well. I also had the pleasure to chat with the owner who was a extremely charming and engaging gentleman. I would definitely recommend Lester's for a welcoming diner style experience.
I am not exaggerating. This isn't a joke either. This breakfast was delivered by a smiling and cheerful waitress Katie, right after she brought mean cup of coffee, in LESS THAN A MINUTE! Aaannnddd it was delicious! Go there. You'll see.
