2/5 stars. the quality of the food and service depends on the whether or not a manager is on duty. there shouldn't be repeated mistakes on online orders, multiple different times, instructions are as clear as day. it's a hit or miss with the food, depending on the cook. no reason i should be given lukewarm food when it should be hot/fresh. the cashier who wears glasses n has a ponytail is pleasant and does her best!! random teens typically have car meets in the parking lot on fridays. the other location in lauderhill is better and more consistent.
I mean it's fast food, so idk what I was expecting. For what it's worth though, the options were good and the food decent. Service was best tbh, smiles all around 👍🏾 and atmosphere was clean. It maintains the wholesomeness of an era that you don't see much anymore these days. Probably won't return, but that's really just because the location is out of my way and I'm cutting back on fast food. If you like Sonic's, this one carries the torch well!
This is a troubling restaurant. It's hard giving them this poor rating but service was lacking. Food was pretty good. Order was incorrect even when I repeated it thrice.
This Sonic is yet another that provides a typical experience that we've all grown accustomed to from Sonic - as we appreciate its corporate standardization efficiency while resenting its soulless capitalistic extraction. In addition, its site and building design is extremely vehicular-focused, featuring vehicular parking stalls where one (or two or etc.) orders at the menus, with no ability to enter a building and order face-to-face with a human or even use a restroom. That said, Sonic is one of those rare facilities that is not only true to what it is, but is the type of facility that can only be constructed and operated in the way it is. And yes, it's a guilty pleasure - so ordering a new tropical spicy burger with crinkly fries (underrated) and my favorite Oreo cheesecake banana shake was a deliciously tasty treat. So while (validly) critical of automotive-oriented design, for the above reasons and the friendly, attentive staff (who deserve a raise!), I can't help but leave a glowing review. The only way this facility could be better would be (with bike parking and) having its staff return to the time-honored and classic tradition of delivering our orders on rollerskates.
Food was just ok but that's on me because I forgot they use cheese sauce on their chili cheese hot dog. Other than that fries were delicious and I always love the mint they put in their bags. Very clean around the drive thru which shows customers how much they care about the restaurant.
