I had an excellent visit to this location from start to finish. It was clean and brightly lit. Sofia was a joy at the front counter with a big smile that didn't quit. She was fast and efficient and friendly. I noticed her interactions during the visit and she treated all the customers like they were important. The food was fresh and had great taste. This restaurant has managed to stay affordable and is a great value. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and especially this location.
I’ve been a loyal customer of Zona Fresca for years and still consider it one of my favorite spots for fresh, flavorful food. I typically order the shrimp tacos, which are usually delicious and well-balanced. Their taquitos are really good too. Recently, though, I had an experience that caught me completely off guard. The base of my tacos were loaded with so much raw onion that I had an immediate, involuntary reaction and had to spit it out… something I found embarrassing, especially while dining in. After apologizing profusely to my partner while having a good laugh at myself, I scooped out the remaining onion from the taco and had to take a photo because the experience was one for the books, that’s for sure. Imagine taking a bite out of an apple… except it’s a raw white onion. That pretty much sums it up. After seeing other food quality comments in recent reviews, I can’t help but wonder if there’s been a change in kitchen staff. That said, the customer service remains excellent, prices are competitive, and the core menu is still strong. I truly believe this is something they can fix, and I really hope they do, because Zona Fresca is still a place I want to love going to.

Very good service even on a busy Thursday night. The food came out within minutes and was good. I got the charred chicken burrito. My only complaint is that it was pretty wet from the beans but other than that I would come back again.
I love how clean this restaurant is and upbeat the atmosphere is as soon as you walk in the door. The food is consistently fresh. I had 2 Chicken Street tacos @$3.50 each. The warm chicken was tender and flavorful. The onion, cilantro, and avocado made the taco taste so fresh. The 2 layers of thin flour tortillas helped keep it all together. I drizzled a fresh lime wedge on them from the salsa bar and it made the lemony dressing even yummier. They offered chips and salsa while I waited. The salsa bar was clean, well stocked and had many offerings. The gentleman took my order with a sincere smile. I can’t say enough about the quality and freshness of the food and the wonderful atmosphere!
