I’ve been a loyal customer of Zona Fresca for years and still consider it one of my favorite spots for fresh, flavorful food. I typically order the shrimp tacos, which are usually delicious and well-balanced. Their taquitos are really good too. Recently, though, I had an experience that caught me completely off guard. The base of my tacos were loaded with so much raw onion that I had an immediate, involuntary reaction and had to spit it out… something I found embarrassing, especially while dining in. After apologizing profusely to my partner while having a good laugh at myself, I scooped out the remaining onion from the taco and had to take a photo because the experience was one for the books, that’s for sure. Imagine taking a bite out of an apple… except it’s a raw white onion. That pretty much sums it up. After seeing other food quality comments in recent reviews, I can’t help but wonder if there’s been a change in kitchen staff. That said, the customer service remains excellent, prices are competitive, and the core menu is still strong. I truly believe this is something they can fix, and I really hope they do, because Zona Fresca is still a place I want to love going to.
Me and my family absolutely love this It’s our number one go to for a quick easy affordable dinner for four. The food is fresh and super tasty. The employees are personable, efficient and sweet. They always remember us. Highly recommended.
Got take out. The staff is amazingly pleasant. Food is fresh and so full of flavor. The Cali Burrito was great. The chicken was fresh and avocado generous. My husband had the grilled Chicken Burrito and was thrilled with his choice. Ordered Chips and Salsa to go with and Let Me Just Say FRESH.
We come here 2-3 times a week as a family. The staff is incredible and very consistent. Cooks and front line girls are Amazing. Kind and fast. We catered with them for the first time this weekend and couldn’t recommend it enough. We found our new catering place for family events in Coral Springs. Thank you guys!
I rarely ever leave a review, but I wanted to start with at least a positive one which this is. First, the place is very clean and the Staff there are so very nice and efficient. The food is excellent. It's always fresh and they give a very generous portion. They never skimp on the protein I always have my order ready if I pre-order and even on a last minute decision to go there, I am taking care of very quickly even join there lunch rush. It has definitely become a go to for me.
